Chopin Nocturne in E Minor (Posthumous) performed by Daniel Graham

Chopin’s Nocturne in E minor, Op. 72 No. 1 was published six years after his death. Much of Chopin’s inspiration for his Nocturnes came from the Irish composer John Field. While Chopin was recognized as the greatest pianist of his time, his performances usually took place in a salon setting where the intimacy of the nocturne could be better appreciated.
